Softball Recap: Barnstable Takes a Loss

Barnstable was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Bishop Stang Spartans, falling 13-1.

Barnstable saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jazlyn Coyer, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Barnstable's loss dropped their record down to 2-11-1. As for Bishop Stang, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-7-1.

Barnstable has already played their next game, a 5-4 defeat against Falmouth on the 11th. As for Bishop Stang, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-2 win against Arlington Catholic on the 11th.
