Fargo Davies faced Shanley/Oak Grove Lutheran in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Deacons with a sharp 42-22 win. Considering the Eagles have won five contests by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the third in a row for Fargo Davies, bringing their record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.0 points over those games. As for Shanley/Oak Grove Lutheran, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 5-1.
