Soccer Recap: Berea's Winning Streak Snapped at Five Games

Berea fought the good fight in their overtime game against Daniel on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Lions by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty seven goals in the game before, Berea couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Geyser Fabricio Lopez, who's now up to 19 this season.

The defeat snapped Berea's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 7-6-1 record. As for Daniel, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.
