Basketball Recap: Christ Prep Academy Takes a Loss

Christ Prep Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by the Baldwin Bulldogs 65-21. The matchup marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Baldwin's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cooper Carr, who went 5 of 6 on his way to 14 points and three steals. Carr is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least three every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Colton Collum, who went 6 for 9 en route to 16 points.

Christ Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Baldwin, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

Christ Prep Academy has already played their next contest, a 75-25 victory against St. Vincent de Paul Academy on the 27th. As for Baldwin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 63-49 loss against Hayden on the 25th.
