Volleyball Recap: Poca's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Poca had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Clay County Panthers on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Dots, who have now won four matches in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-10, 25-16.

Sophia Bailey paced Poca's offense, picking up 15 kills. Bailey got some help from Abby Barnett and her 34 assists. Ellie Gray controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Poca's win bumped their record up to 33-5-5. As for Clay County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 18 of their last 19 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-26 record this season.

Poca has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Wayne on the 30th. Clay County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
