Volleyball Recap: Kennedy Comes Up Short

Kennedy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Abramson Commodores. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Commodores apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-18, 25-18.

Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Abramson, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Kennedy is set to face off against their familiar foe Frederick A. Douglass at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Abramson will square off against rival Livingston Collegiate Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
