Football Game Preview: Palmdale Falcons vs. Highland Bulldogs + How To Watch

The Palmdale Falcons will challenge the Highland Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Palmdale is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

On Friday, Palmdale was fully in charge, breezing past Eastside 42-10. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Elleyon Clark had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 138 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. He has become a key player for Palmdale: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-4 otherwise.

Palmdale didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Eastside to a completion percentage of just 30%. The Falcons are a perfect 3-0 when they limit the passing game like that.

Palmdale didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Clark. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 138 rushing yards. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Highland unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They were outmatched by Lancaster and fell 42-7. Having soared to a lofty 35 points in the game before, the Bulldogs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Palmdale's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Highland, they now also have a losing record of 4-5.

Palmdale lost to Highland at home by a decisive 40-22 margin when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Thankfully for the Falcons, Justin Wyatt Jr. (who threw for 237 yards and five TDs, and also rushed for 49 yards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
