Basketball Recap: Ridgway Skates Past De Beque with Ease + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Non Varsity Opponent, Ridgway was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They claimed a resounding 44-16 win over the De Beque Dragons. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Demons had established a 24-point advantage.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ridgway to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sophia Scranton, who posted nine points and three steals. Scranton is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 23 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Martina Smith, who earned eight points and seven rebounds.

Ridgway smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in January.

The victory got Ridgway back to even at 1-1. As for De Beque, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Ridgway has already played their next game, a 35-31 win against Olathe on the 5th. As for De Beque, they will host Dolores at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
