Softball Recap: ALA - Gilbert North Comes Up Short

ALA - Gilbert North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Deer Valley Skyhawks, falling 10-0. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 12-0 to the Skyhawks when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

ALA - Gilbert North's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Deer Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2-1.

Looking ahead, ALA - Gilbert North will welcome Cactus at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Deer Valley, they will square off against Poston Butte at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Poston Butte's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
