Vardaman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a hard 75-56 fall against the Eupora Eagles. On the bright side, the 56- point performance marked the Rams' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Vardaman's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Eupora, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vardaman and Water Valley will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. As for Eupora, they will head out to challenge French Camp Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 50.33 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
