Westminster Christian came tearing into Monday's game with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Orchard Farm Eagles as they made off with a 12-2 victory. Considering the Wildcats have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Charlie Berkmeyer made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Abby Milgie, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in September of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kya Huddleson, who earned one RBI, three runs, and one stolen base.

Westminster Christian's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Orchard Farm, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westminster Christian will welcome St. Charles at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Orchard Farm, they will be playing at home against Non Varsity Opponent at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
