The West Potomac Wolverines will be playing at home against the Herndon Hornets at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. Herndon took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on West Potomac, who comes in off a win.
The third road match was the charm for West Potomac, as they earned their first road win of the season. They walked away with a 5-2 win over Centreville on Friday. The victory was just what West Potomac needed coming off of an 11-3 defeat in their prior game.
West Potomac got a great performance from Jackson Trumbo as he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Barrett Baker picked up the save, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (he also didn't allow any walks).

Meanwhile, sadly, Herndon is still looking for their first win of the season after four contests. They fell just short of George C. Marshall by a score of 2-0 on Thursday.
West Potomac's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Herndon, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
