Softball Recap: Hector Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Hector's offense. They came up short against the Hackett Hornets on Tuesday, falling 13-0. Having soared to a lofty 24 runs in the game before, the Wildcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Hector's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-2. As for Hackett, their record now sits at 12-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hector will take on St. Joseph at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hackett, they will challenge Paris at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
