Hamilton Southeastern has gone a perfect 3-0 against Cathedral recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Royals will take on the Fighting Irish at 7:30 p.m.

On Saturday, Hamilton Southeastern came up short against Lawrence Central and fell 62-53. The loss put an end to the Royals' undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, Cathedral made easy work of Mooresville on Thursday and carried off a 55-32 win. The Fighting Irish pushed the score to 47-17 by the end of the third, a deficit the Pioneers cut but never quite recovered from.

Hamilton Southeastern better focus on containing Caroline Wiggins and Precious Anuka as the pair were huge in Cathedral's win. Wiggins went 6-for-11 en route to 15 points and three steals, while Anuka posted 11 points and six steals. Another player making a difference was Taylor Babington, who had eight points in addition to five boards and three steals.

The victory got Cathedral back to even at 1-1. As for Hamilton Southeastern, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Hamilton Southeastern beat Cathedral 50-39 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Royals since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
