Soccer Preview: Anson vs. Piedmont
Anson is 0-8 against Piedmont since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Anson Bearcats will head out on the road to take on the Piedmont Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Anson will be strutting in after a victory while Piedmont will be coming in after a defeat.
After failing to score in their last game, Anson made sure to put some goals up on the board against North Stanly on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Comets with a sharp 4-1 win.
Anson hit North Stanly with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from

Alaysia Caraway,
Caroline Austin, and
Hannah Austin.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought contest, but Piedmont had to settle for a 4-3 loss against West Stanly on Wednesday.
Anson's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-6. As for Piedmont, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3-1.
