Basketball Recap: EPIC Academy Skates Past Harlan with Ease

EPIC Academy's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They blew past the Harlan Falcons, posting a 30-3 win. That 27 point margin sets a new team best for the The Legends this season.

EPIC Academy found their leader in freshman Mariah Clark, who posted 21 points. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which Clark has scored at least a third of EPIC Academy's points.

EPIC Academy's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9. As for Harlan, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. EPIC Academy will host Goode STEM Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Harlan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Gage Park at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Harlan's defense has only allowed 21.3 points per game this season, so Gage Park's offense will have their work cut out for them.
