Basketball Recap: Wakefield Country Day Gets the Win

Ad Fontes Academy came into Saturday's game looking for another win against Wakefield Country Day, but Jacob Didomenico wouldn't allow it. The Owls walked away with a 51-38 win over the Falcons on Saturday for which the team can thank Didomenico, who went 12-for-28 to rack up 38 points and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Wakefield Country Day's points.

Wakefield Country Day's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Ad Fontes Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Wakefield Country Day will take on Chelsea Academy at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Ad Fontes Academy and Covenant Christian Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on the 15th. The matchup will give the Falcons their first taste of in-conference action this season.
