Baseball Game Preview: Kee Kee Hawks vs. MFL MarMac Bulldogs

The Kee Kee Hawks will square off against the MFL MarMac Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Kee 2.6, MFL MarMac 3) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Kee is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Charles City get on the board and left with a 15-0 win on Saturday. Considering the Kee Hawks have won 13 matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, MFL MarMac's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They lost 7-1 to Maquoketa Valley. Surprisingly, this marked the Bulldogs' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Kee, bringing their record up to 17-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for MFL MarMac, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-4.

Kee skirted past MFL MarMac 5-3 when the teams last played last Thursday. Do the Kee Hawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
