Football Recap: The Pingry School Piles Up the Points Against Riverdale Country

It's playoff time, and The Pingry School had no trouble coming through when it counted. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Riverdale Country Falcons 35-0. The Big Blue might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 26 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Ryan Moye, who threw for 347 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 42 yards and two TDs. That's the most passing yards he has posted since back in August of 2024. Alex Finkelstein was another key player, picking up 156 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

The Pingry School has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.7 points on average over those games. As for Riverdale Country, they moved to 6-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

As of now, neither The Pingry School nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
