Basketball Game Preview: Varela Vipers vs. Miami Beach Hi-Tides

The Varela Vipers will face off against the Miami Beach Hi-Tides at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Varela's offense hasn't had much luck over their past three games, but Tuesday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

Last Wednesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Varela beat Sunset 25-19.

Meanwhile, Miami Beach was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 33-29 to iMater Charter.

Varela has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Miami Beach, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

Everything went Varela's way against Miami Beach when the teams last played back in December of 2015, as Varela made off with a 58-34 victory. Will Varela repeat their success, or does Miami Beach have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
