Volleyball Recap: Hialeah Comes Up Short

If Hialeah was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Westland Hialeah on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Thoroughbreds came up short against the Norland Vikings on Monday, falling 3-0. The Thoroughbreds were not able to make up for their loss to the Vikings from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-10, 25-17.

Norland found their leader in sophomore Eyani Brown, who had 13 assists and eight aces.

Hialeah's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Norland, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hialeah will challenge Hialeah-Miami Lakes at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Norland, they will host North Miami at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
