North Fremont was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Firth on Friday. The Huskies claimed a resounding 40-6 victory over the Cougars. Considering the Huskies have won four contests by more than 33 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Fremont to victory, but perhaps none more so than Owen Reid, who rushed for 151 yards and a pair of scores on only 14 carries. Reid's longest rush was for an impressive 57 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Andrew Martin also helped out as he racked up 125 rushing yards.

North Fremont's record is now 6-1. As for Firth, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Looking ahead, North Fremont will square off against Ririe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Huskies' defense better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 40.7 points per game this season. As for Firth, they will welcome West Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 12.7 points per game this season, so the Cougars' offense will have their work cut out for them.
