Basketball Recap: Trey Redgate and Hunter Redgate Secure Win for NC H

NC H proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 36) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the South Guilford HomeSchool Cougars 57-54. This was payback for the Heat, who suffered a 56-45 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Leading NC H to victory were Hunter Redgate and Trey Redgate. Hunter shot 50% from the field on his way to 17 points, while Trey posted 14 points and six rebounds. The Heat are undefeated when Hunter posts 15 or more points, but 1-2 otherwise. Hunter Strickland was another key player, putting up seven points.

Despite the loss, South Guilford HomeSchool still got an impressive performance from Nate Martin, who went 8-for-20 en route to 23 points and eight boards. With that strong performance, Martin is now averaging an impressive 15.4 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamar Turner, who scored nine points.

NC H has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for South Guilford HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

NC H wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 82-49 win against Cathedral Oak Academy on the 4th. As for South Guilford HomeSchool, they have also already played their next game, a 67-62 defeat against South Charlotte on the 4th.
