The Whitefish Bulldogs will take on the Columbia Falls Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Columbia Falls will be up against a hot Whitefish team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. The Bulldogs blew past Polson 41-6 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won three games by 35 points or more so far this season.

Whitefish relied on the efforts of Luke Dalen, who threw for 166 yards and a pair of TDs, and Jordan Harmon, who gained 110 total yards and two touchdowns. Those 166 passing yards gave Dalen a new career-high.

Whitefish was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 285 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Columbia Falls). They claimed a resounding 54-0 victory over Ronan. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Chiefs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Columbia Falls' win came from a few key players Whitefish will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Banyan Johnston, who threw for 158 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 58 receiving yards and one score. He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 58 yards. Another player making a difference was Kyler Voermans, who rushed for 57 yards and a pair of TDs.

Whitefish's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Columbia Falls, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-3.
