Skutt Catholic came tearing into Saturday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Mercy Monarchs by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Skutt Catholic took both sets by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-13.

Among those leading the charge was Mia Stevens, who had 17 assists and four digs.

Despite the loss, Mercy still got an impressive performance from Maggie Lindauer, who had ten digs and one assist. Lindauer has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Skutt Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 25-10. As for Mercy, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-16.

Skutt Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Roncalli Catholic on the 25th. As for Mercy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Gross Catholic on the 25th.
