Warden had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Columbia on Thursday. The Cougars blew past the Coyotes 3-0. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Coyotes back in September, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

Warden pushed their record up to 4-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Columbia, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Coincidentally, Warden and Columbia will both be playing Mabton the next time they take the court. The Cougars will head out to face the Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Coyotes will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
