Basketball Game Preview: Chuckey-Doak Black Knights vs. Rhea County Golden Eagles

The Chuckey-Doak Black Knights will be taking part in a tournament against the Rhea County Golden Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

Last Friday, Chuckey-Doak ended up a good deal behind Happy Valley and lost 60-44. The Black Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rhea County). They breezed by Sale Creek to the tune of 88-57 on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Golden Eagles sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Rhea County is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.6 points per game. As for Chuckey-Doak, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
