Excelsior Springs strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Winnetonka Griffins by a score of 5-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Excelsior Springs' win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Winnetonka, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Excelsior Springs will take on Lawson at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Winnetonka, they will welcome Raytown South at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Griffins are facing the Cardinals at the right time seeing as the Cardinals are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
