There's no place like home for Newaygo, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Big Rapids Cardinals on Saturday. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Newaygo's victory bumped their record up to 26-13. As for Big Rapids, they dropped their record down to 8-21-1 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.
