Football Game Preview: Oneida Indians vs. Gordonsville Tigers + Official Tickets

The Oneida Indians will take on the Gordonsville Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Oneida is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They blew past West Greene 36-7. The Indians' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Gordonsville put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed past York Institute to the tune of 35-7. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by 22 points or more this season.

Oneida better keep an eye on J Foster. He was instrumental in Gordonsville's win, rushing for 26 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 81 yards and one TD. That's the most rushing touchdowns Foster has posted since back in October of 2024.

Gordonsville was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 209 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 161 rushing yards in ten consecutive matchups.

One reason for the win was Gordonsville's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Wyatt Lankford was especially locked on to York Institute's QB and sacked him twice.
