Baseball Recap: Southeastern Local Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Southeastern Local's offense. They lost 12-0 to the West Jefferson Roughriders on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Trojans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Southeastern Local's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for West Jefferson, they pushed their record up to 16-1 with the win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Southeastern Local will face off against Mechanicsburg at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so the Trojans' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for West Jefferson, they will challenge Amanda-Clearcreek at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
