Basketball Recap: Moorhead Snags Eighth Victory in Last Nine Games

Moorhead won the last time they faced Jamestown and things went their way on Saturday too. The Moorhead Spuds came out on top against the Jamestown Bluejays by a score of 78-69.

Moorhead has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.8 points per game. As for Jamestown, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moorhead will venture away from home to challenge Bemidji at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jamestown, they are taking a road trip to face off against Century at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Century's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
