Hadlee Russell and Tylar Keeton secure win for Willapa Valley

Recap: Willapa Valley Vikings vs. Columbia Adventist Academy Kodiaks

The Willapa Valley Vikings can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Columbia Adventist Academy with a sharp 53-31 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Willapa Valley.

Leading Willapa Valley to victory were Hadlee Russell and Tylar Keeton. Russell scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and six steals, while Keeton dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Keeton has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Rilyn Channell, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and four steals.

Willapa Valley's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-11. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points per game. As for Columbia Adventist Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Willapa Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Columbia Adventist Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
