Volleyball Recap: Mt. Spokane Wildcats vs. Ridgeline Falcons

If Mt. Spokane was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Ferris last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats fell just short of the Ridgeline Falcons by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Falcons earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Ridgeline scored at least 11 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22, 20-25, 26-28, 15-11.

The Wildcats will face off against Cheney at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (7 vs. 108). Meanwhile, Ridgeline (ranked eighth) will meet Ferris (ranked 116th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
