Volleyball Recap: Mt. Spokane Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Mt. Spokane was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Ferris last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats fell just short of the Ridgeline Falcons by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Falcons earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Ridgeline scored at least 11 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22, 20-25, 26-28, 15-11.

Jade Livingston went supernova For Ridgeline., getting 32 digs. Livingston is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 21 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Mt. Spokane's loss dropped their record down to 11-5-1. As for Ridgeline, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-7.

Mt. Spokane and Ridgeline should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. The Wildcats will face off against Cheney at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (7 vs. 108). Meanwhile, Ridgeline (ranked eighth) will meet Ferris (ranked 116th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
