Cameron has gone a perfect 10-0 against Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Dragons will take on the Lumberjacks at 7:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Cameron easily dispatched River back in September, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Dragons fell just short of Tyler by a score of 14-12 last Friday. The loss was the Dragons' first of the season.

Cameron might have lost, but man, Marshall Holland was a machine: he picked up 40 receiving yards and two scores, and also rushed for 70 yards on only nine carries.

Even if they lost, Cameron's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Tyler's QB won't forget Talen Brown anytime soon given he sacked him twice.

Meanwhile, Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Bridgeport and fell 43-6. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Lumberjacks came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 108th in West Virginia, while the Bulldogs are ranked 660th in Ohio).

Having lost for the first time this season, Cameron fell to 3-1. As for Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Everything came up roses for Cameron against Valley in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 62-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dragons since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
