Basketball Recap: Brody May Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Strasburg-Franklin

After losing to Strasburg-Franklin the last time they met, Tuscarawas Valley decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Trojans walked away with a 42-35 win over the Tigers on Friday. Surprisingly, this marked the Trojans' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Tuscarawas Valley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brody May out in front who shot 50% from the field en route to 14 points and six boards. May is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last 16 games he's played dating back to last season. Cole Kuykendall was another key player, putting up 14 points.

The win got Tuscarawas Valley back to even at 1-1. As for Strasburg-Franklin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
