Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Heritage). They enjoyed a cozy 56-41 win over the Battle Ground Tigers on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Timberwolves: when they faced off against the Tigers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 41-25 loss.

Battle Ground lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Charlotte Clarke, who posted nine points and seven boards. Clarke is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Charlie Jones, who had five points and nine rebounds.

Heritage's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7. As for Battle Ground, they dropped their record down to 5-11 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Heritage didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 52-49 loss against Elma on the 20th. As for Battle Ground, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 48-27 defeat against Kalama on the 20th.
