Softball Recap: Palo Duro Comes Up Short

Palo Duro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 20-2 to the Monterey Plainsmen. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Plainsmen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 28-0 back in March.

Palo Duro's loss dropped their record down to 3-22. As for Monterey, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Palo Duro nor Monterey have any future games scheduled.
