Soccer Game Preview: Early College vs. Hornell

The Early College Sharks will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Hornell Red Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Early College came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Brockport, falling 4-0. The defeat continues a trend for Early College in their meetings with Brockport: they've now lost seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Hornell strolled into their game on Thursday with an undefeated record and they left with the same. Their defense stepped up to hand Wayland-Cohocton a 2-0 shutout. Hornell's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.

Early College now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Hornell, their victory bumped their record up to 12-0-2.
