Volleyball Game Preview: Fort Morgan Mustangs vs. Weldon Valley Warriors + How To Watch

The Fort Morgan Mustangs will venture away from home to square off against the Weldon Valley Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Weldon Valley took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Fort Morgan, who comes in off a win.

Fort Morgan barely beat Northridge the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Mustangs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Grizzlies on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

While Fort Morgan won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-10, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Weldon Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Prairie. Warriors fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Mustangs since Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18, 25-13.

Weldon Valley's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Fort Morgan, their victory bumped their record up to 8-14.

Fort Morgan suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Weldon Valley in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
