Volleyball Recap: Alcester-Hudson Falls Short of Gayville-Volin in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Alcester-Hudson can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Gayville-Volin Raiders on Tuesday. The Cubs have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-14, 25-8.

Alcester-Hudson's loss dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Gayville-Volin, they pushed their record up to 28-4 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Alcester-Hudson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gayville-Volin, they will face off against Tripp-Delmont/Armour on Thursday.
