Volleyball Recap: Veritas Collegiate Academy Falls to Saint John Paul the Great Catholic in First Game of Season

Veritas Collegiate Academy kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 3-0 to the Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Wolves.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-2, 25-2, 25-3.

The win keeps Saint John Paul the Great Catholic at an undefeated 4-0.

Veritas Collegiate Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Fairfax Christian at 5:00 p.m. on October 2. As for Saint John Paul the Great Catholic, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Seton on the 9th.
