The Adrian/Ellsworth Dragons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
On Monday, Adrian/Ellsworth lost to Red Rock Central at home by a decisive 66-49 margin. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Adrian/Ellsworth in their matchups with Red Rock Central: they've now lost four in a row.
Meanwhile, Westbrook-Walnut Grove's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 90-54 defeat at the hands of Springfield. Adrian/Ellsworth has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Westbrook-Walnut Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-19.
Adrian/Ellsworth didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Westbrook-Walnut Grove in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 62-58 win.
