Basketball Game Preview: Ridgway Demons vs. North Fork Miners

Ridgway is 0-10 against North Fork since December of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Demons will welcome the Miners at 5:30 p.m. Ridgway will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Ridgway saw some tournament action on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 30-14 win over Ouray.

Meanwhile, North Fork took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They really took it to Telluride for the full four quarters, racking up a 64-9 victory. North Fork hasn't had any issues with Telluride recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Ridgway better keep an eye on Alyssa Lovelace. She was instrumental in North Fork's win, going 5-for-8 en route to 12 points. Andie Heinritz was another key player, putting up eight points.

North Fork was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January.

Ridgway's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for North Fork, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
