Volleyball Recap: Centennial Takes Down Ranked Liberty

On Wednesday, Centennial faced Liberty in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Centennial Bulldogs put the hurt on the Liberty Patriots with a sharp 3-0 win. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Bulldogs this season.

Centennial didn't let Liberty take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 26-24.

Lincoln Larson paced Centennial's offense, picking up 11 kills. Larson got some help from Cole Crapo and his 11 assists.

Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Coming up, Centennial will head out to challenge Arbor View at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Liberty, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Amplus Academy on the 6th.
