Volleyball Recap: Carrie Eicher Key Part of Team Effort in Deaf Hoosiers Win

Indiana School for the Deaf won the last time they faced Eminence and things went their way on Monday too. The Deaf Hoosiers blew past the Eels 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Deaf Hoosiers.

Indiana School for the Deaf walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-18, 25-8, 25-20.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Indiana School for the Deaf to victory, but perhaps none more so than Carrie Eicher, who had 26 assists. Those 26 assists gave Eicher a new career-high. Ariana Starayev was another key player, getting five aces and one block.

Indiana School for the Deaf's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Eminence, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-11.

Looking ahead, Indiana School for the Deaf will head out on the road to face off against International at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eminence, they will face off against Owen Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
