Volleyball Game Preview: Elk Rapids Elks vs. Mancelona Ironmen + How To Watch

The Elk Rapids Elks will take on the Mancelona Ironmen at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Thursday, Elk Rapids was able to grind out a solid victory over Glen Lake, taking the game 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Elks in their matchups with the Lakers: they've now won seven in a row.

Mancelona not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 25th (when they won 3-0). They blew past Grand Traverse Academy 3-0.

Mancelona's victory bumped their record up to 11-18. As for Elk Rapids, their win bumped their record up to 15-22-1.

Elk Rapids took their victory against Mancelona when the teams last played back in September of 2020 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Elks repeat their success, or do the Ironmen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
