Volleyball Recap: Armijo Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Armijo and Del Oro squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Armijo had to settle for second. They came up short against the Golden Eagles, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-7, 25-12.

Lily Smith was nothing short of spectacular for Del Oro: she had seven digs and seven aces. What's more, Smith racked up seven assists, the most she's had over her last nine matches. Charli Roccucci also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Armijo's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Del Oro, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 25-10.

Armijo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Del Oro, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Vista del Lago at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
