Basketball Recap: Opp Piles Up the Points Against Red Level

While Opp didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Red Level Tigers 65-32. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

DJ Hines was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 20 points and 19 boards. His big performance that evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Parker Burgess, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 11 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Opp smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Opp's record now sits at 5-0. As for Red Level, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Opp will head out on the road to face off against Geneva County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Red Level, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Pleasant Home at 7:00 p.m.
