Basketball Recap: Northfield Comes Up Short

Northfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 27th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Danville Bears 84-20. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 77-45 back in December of 2024.

Northfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Danville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Northfield has already played their next matchup (against Blue Mountain), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Danville, they will venture away from home to take on Stowe at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
